In Ralph’s hometown in Cheshire, he and Kayla married for the second time.
Their New York wedding had been a spectacular day, and while their Cheshire wedding was much more intimate, it was no less special. Full of meaning found in small places, Kayla and Ralph celebrated with their closest family and friends in the comfort of Ralph’s childhood home.
Kayla’s English ceremony dress had been her mother’s wedding dress, refashioned and given new life through Kayla’s artistic eye.
CHAPTER ONE
New York was hot while our English was summer had a chill in the air. Small echoes of rain in the voice of the wind on the first of July couldn’t have been more English. Perhaps it was the most honest blessing our weather could give to Kayla and Ralph for their ceremony in the countryside, the wind, the rain and then finally, the sun.
Their closest friends and nearest and dearest gathered with them in Bunbury Church, Cheshire for the intimate blessing. Tears fell from smile-stained faces. Surrounded by the love of their people, the church grew a little warmer.
CHAPTER TWO
Flowers were everywhere, childhood memories from Ralph’s home welcomed everyone in and good food was lovingly prepared for all guest.
CHAPTER 03
Ralph’s family home was a haven of beautiful spots. A stunning and well-kept garden, the pond, the woods. All important places that deserved their own photos.
CHAPTER 04
Time spent with their friends and family was most important. Many of Kayla and Ralph’s friends had travelled across from the U.S. to be there for their English blessing, and many other close family friends and relatives of Ralph’s hadn’t been able to attend the New York wedding. A small gathering, but so full of love.
