A Loving Home in Manchester
A first session of calm anticipation. A second of welcome joy. There is something very special about documenting before baby arrives and the after, the glow of new parenthood.
Britt welcomed me into her home twice. The first time for her pregnancy. The sun showered the garden in light and we chatted, creating such special images, for hours.
Evie was born, and Britt’s ‘cosy newborn era’ began. It made sense to follow the first gallery with another gallery full of soft, cosy black and white analogue images.
Needless to say, home shoots have become a favourite of mine.
CHAPTER ONE: PREGNANCY
Time spent in comfortable spaces. Moments in the sunshine. The anticipation of Evie.
CHAPTER TWO: EVIE
Small smiles and big feelings. Holding Evie so tightly. Watching as she watches everything. This is the cosy newborn era through and through.
