Lake District Elopement at Armathwaite Hall

On the 11th of December 2023, E & A eloped to the Lake District, staying and marrying at Armathwaite Hall.

E & A have been together for four beautiful years. The last year and a half saw them travelling around the UK and Ireland in their campervan, volunteering and learning how to live sustainably. The decision to be married was one they came to together, communicating that both felt this was the right next step. The decision to elope to the Lake District was a relatively easy one. E had been married before and had realised that the full, traditional wedding experience was not right for her.

A Lake District elopement can look many different ways and Armathwaite Hall was perfect for E&A. The views of mountains and Bassenthwaite Lake kept the adventure elopement feel. The Hall staff were friendly and the Hall itself was breathtaking. It is the perfect Lake District elopement venue.

E&A are such wonderful people and I'm not sure I'll ever stop talking about their beautiful elopement. It was such an honour to be their photographer, I wish I had the right words to thank them for trusting me with their special day.
