A Quiet Sunset Beach Couples Photoshoot – Lauren & Harry

These photos are from back in February when Lauren & Harry had their couples photoshoot at Formby Beach. It was the most gorgeous February day, surprisingly warm with clear skies. Lauren has been a close friend of mine since she moved to Manchester in October and I had asked if she and Harry wouldn't mind modelling for me as the weather was looking so beautiful.

We laughed, ran, danced and talked until the sun went down, the clear winter skies blessing us with colours of pink, purple and blue. Lauren & Harry are gentle and loving and it was such an honour to capture this moment in their story.

Beach couples photoshoots are some of my favourites. The beach itself as a location is a dream in all seasons and weather. Glorious sunsets and dark brooding storms always look good on the beach. It also offers so much versatility from sand dunes and long grasses to long stretches of sand and the sea. The galleries I deliver from beach couples shoots always feel so full of love and laughter. There is a precious joy that can be found at the beach, reminders of childhood, rolling around in the sand and running into the sea. Incorporating those elements of fun along with romantic prompts can make for a truly special and magical couples photoshoot.

If you are thinking of a romantic beach couples photoshoot, I would love to know and to be your photographer. It is such a special place for me and to be able to celebrate your love in one of my favourite kinds of places would be a true honour.
