A Luxury Wedding at Willington Hall

Willington Hall is a truly magical and romantic wedding venue nestled in the Cheshire countryside. When Lucy, the bridal model, had invited me along to take part in this shoot as a photographer, I had never come across Willington Hall before. Now, having had the opportunity to shoot there, I wouldn't hesitate for even a moment, to recommend this really special venue.

We began the shoot in their Bridal suit which overlooks the grounds and the fields beyond. The windows themselves filled the room with the most gorgeous soft light, perfect for the getting-ready photos.

Exploring the gardens

The morning of the shoot had predicted rain, however over the course of the day, the weather continued to get better and better, so we spent as much time as we could exploring Willington Hall's gardens. As we walked around, it felt like there was something new around every corner. These gardens would provide a really magical backdrop for any real Willington Hall wedding.

One of my favourite spots in the garden was where the water feature is. Fields on one side, the house on the other and surrounded by foliage and flowers, it felt a bit like we were in a fairytale.

The Orangery

The other space we had access to for the shoot was the Orangery, which overlooks the gardens and leads out to an outdoor seated area. While we had no set-up here apart from a wedding cake, it wasn't difficult to imagine how beautiful it would look set up properly.
