Polly & Tom are expecting their first baby together and while a photoshoot didn't feel like their thing necessarily, they decided they wanted some photos to remember this time in their lives. We headed to a beautiful location not too far from Manchester for their pregnancy photoshoot. Both were quite nervous, they'd made me well aware before the shoot that they fel uncomfortable in front of the camera but I had promised the session would be super relaxed and easy.

My pregnancy photoshoots are always designed to be comfortable, relaxed and authentic. I place a lot of emphasis on getting to know each other beforehand so that I don't feel like a stranger to you and so that I have a better idea of how to capture this time in your life.

For this shoot, we headed to Errwood Reservoir. There are so many beautiful places around Manchester for a pregnancy photoshoot, but Errwood Reservoir felt perfect for Polly and Tom and their love of the outdoors and hiking. It also wasn't too far from Lyme Park, where Polly had mentioned to me as a favourite placeas she's a huge Pride and Prejudice fan (me too!).

Polly and Tom are the most loving and fun couple. I spent a lot of time laughing during the shoot and I can't wait for their baby boy to join their beautiful family.
